Three weeks already went by again since we came back from the Greece tour. I‘ll try to keep the retrospect short now, as I started to write a small diary of the time we spent in Greece, which I‘ll post on our blog when I‘m back in Graz again. I think it got a bit too long to post it here in the news section and apparently I forgot it on my computer in Graz when I left for Berlin. Anyway, all I want to say now is that all the shows were great again, we got treated amazingly good again, whe had great fun and spent an awesome and also exciting time with our best friends there again, you‘re the best and we love you! Jack also came from Athens to Graz last week to finish the Despite Everything recordings there and scatterbrain as I am, I totally forgot the excact date and was driving to Berlin just when he arrived in Graz, argh…that’s a pity. Hope you had fun and alcohol in Graz though! Ok, more details and stories about the Greece tour will be online to read soonish.

After we came back from Greece Phillip got the testpressings of the new LP send to Cologne and according to him everything sounded fine, so he gave the pressing plant the conformation to start producing it. Unforunately we‘re not able to play a release show before we‘re going on tour in April as the pressing plant just told us the LPs will be delayed a bit, but we will bring them with us for the shows in April. We also will try to play a release show in our hometown in Graz after we will be back from the European tour. As soon as anything is confirmed we‘ll post it here. All the songs of the new record are already online at Bandcamp as streams to take a pre listen. It’s also already possible to pre-order the record at Contraszt!Records if you‘re interested. Altogether it’s nine new songs and this is what the LP looks and sounds like:

1. Anxiety Disorders
2. Connoisseur Of Art
3. The One-Handed Parasite
4. Untitled
5. Crisis Stimulus
6. Intro
7. Fair Trade Caffeine
8. Plain Vanilla
9. Alea Iacta Est

The pressing will include a bit more than 500 pieces on black 180g Vinyl. This time we did the whole recording in our practise space in Graz by our own, the mix and master again is done by Robin and it got released by Contraszt!Records in Germany, Halvfabrikat Records in Sweden, Rope or Guilltone Records in Holland, Panda Banda Records in Slovenia, Dream Comes True Records in France, Destroy It Yourself Records in Portugal and WinHtein Records in the UK. The lyrics can also be found either on bandcamp or in the lyrics section. Thanks once more to Phillip who mainly released the record and handeld the whole process of getting it finally done, thanks a lot too to all our other friends who are running diy labels spread all over Europe and supported us again! Believe me, running a diy label means a lot of effort, time, passion and also money to put in or even to loose and bands like us wouldn‘t be possible to do things like this without all your help and idealism concerning diy and punk music and we really appreciate that! If you live in one of those countries we would highly recommend to check out the activities of those labels and to support them by going on shows or buying records if you‘re able to. Thanks!

We‘re are going to play at KuZeB Festival in Bremgarten, Switzerland on the 29th of March and after that one more show in Laives, which is located next to Bolzano, Italy. Finally we booked the flight tickets to Athens. This will be our second time in Greece, really looking forward to play four shows together with our buddies from Sarabante in February. Our friend Cis will help us out on bass for the Greece shows. So here‘re the dates:

14.02.2013 LARISSA/Λάρισσα, T.E.I.
17.02.2013 ATHINA/Αθήνα, ZERO

and the poster:

Thanks so much to Seitan Booking, Sarabante, Jack and Despite Everything and everyone who’s helping us again with those shows. It’s amazing to have such friends, really can‘t wait to see all of you soon again! Will hang out in Athens until the 20th of February, so I really hope to meet up with all of you and to eat shitloads of Pita bread! This is also a call for solidarity with the Punks from Villa Amalias and with every other squatted and self organized diy space, as well as with all the struggeling people in Greece and everywhere else! The pigs won‘t get us down!

More informations about the release of the new album and more details to the upcoming shows will be posted here soon.

Robin just sent us a rough mix of the new songs. Here’s three of them as .mp3 files to take a pre listen:

Crisis Stimulus.mp3

The One-Handed Parasite.mp3

Fair Trade Caffeine.mp3

The album should be out in March and will be released by Contraszt! Records in Germany, Halvfabrikat Records in Sweden, Rope Or Guillotine Records in Holland, Destroy It Yourself Records in Portugal, Dream Comes True Records in France, Win Htein Records in the UK, Panda Banda Records in Slovenia and Shitpiece. Records in Austria. As soon as the artwork is finished I‘ll post it here. The lyrics already can be found in the lyrics section. Thanks to everyone who’s involved in making this possible for us, especially to Philipp for helping us again with releasing it and also taking perfect care of the whole pressing process! This is amazing and means the world to us. Thanks too to everyone at the Winter Hardcore Fest at Epplehaus in Tübingen where we played in December…awesome bands, sweet people, heavy drinking, great food, party dancing, nearly dying in Bavarian snow storms, what does any honest Punk need more? As it seems we are doing four shows in Greece in February with our friends from Sarabante. Sarabante and good old Jack of Despite Everything are taking care of that. In total rockstar manner we‘re just hopping over to Athens by plane, haha..just need to book those shitty flight tickets finally. See you cute Punx there or on our European tour in April. Amore y guerra, volle Kraft voraus, Rock und Roll, forward!

Here are some pictures of the Tweety Party we played last Sunday in Graz, 400 [edit] 600 people, fun times, thanks, numavi!
