Unfortunately, we had to cancel the last two shows on our mini-tour due to job-related issues. We will certainly try to catch up on those shows somewhen next year. Check out the „shows“ section for the updated shows.
There will be an update regarding our tour in february/march 2012 soonish.

YO!
Good news:

Our new LP “World bores to death” arrived just in time before tourstart. We are very glad that everything worked out so well. Thx to everyone involved in this, and thanks to Honza from Gattaca/Remek for picking up the records for us and thereby saving us money. Some songs are on bandcamp already..we´ll put all songs online soon.

In a week we´re going on tour again with our lovely Dutch friends Sand Creek Massacre. We are all super excited, especially because most of us have never been to Scandinavia before. However, we´d still need help with two dates. Check out the “Shows” section for details.

Some shows are planned for autumn as well as a short tour at the end of October. Further details about that will be announced soon as well. See ya!

Morning! It’s already 3 pm, fuck! However, we just got the premaster version of our first upcoming full length album ‚World Bores To Death‘. All the eleven songs have been recorded, except for the vocals, in December 2010 at s.t.r.e.s.s studio in Puntigam, Graz by our friend Nickl again. The vocals again were recorded by ourselves in our basemant practice room in April 2011, right before we left for the South-Eastern European tour. The mix and master job this time is done by Rec-O-Rob (Robin Völkert) in Münster, Northern Germany. Thanks to Nickl and Robin for doing a great job once more. We just uploaded two songs to get an impression what it will sound like:

Charades_Premaster

Gutmensch_Premaster

The lyrics can be found in the, oh suprise, lyrics section. The record should be out in the summer, at the latest before we‘re leaving for the Scandinavia tour in August. The artwork should be finished within the next weeks and the whole thing should be in the pressing plant in the mid of June. Some things never change, so we still didn‘t become friends with the idea of working a lot to get a fucking wage, but who does? Anyway, the expenses for releasing a LP are not that easy to handle for a small diy band. So if any boy or girl likes what we‘re doing and runs a label, or is able to help us to distribute it, just.. Really, we know what that means. Without you countless passionated individuals we wouldn‘t be able to start anything. Merci!

As shortly mentioned above, we toured South-Eastern Europe in April/May. The tour was great again. Starting in Croatia and Slovenia, meeting so many amazing friends again. Having a great time in Southern Italy, hanging out at self-organized farms and beeing spoiled with great Italian food, spending time at the seaside, waking up next to olive and orange plantations. From Italy we took the 16 hours over-night ferry to Patras, Greece and played our first show at the University there. The university is an awesome skate spot! Again we were welcomed really heartly and had a great time together with our long time buddies Despite Everything and a lot of other friends from Greece, also playing in several bands: Vodka Juniors, Sarabante etc. We really haven‘t meet each other for too long. For the show in Athens on the next day it’s hard for me to find words. It’s nights like this who really make me feel alive. Just crazy how many people showed up at Katarameno Syndromo and made the show to the best show this band has probably played so far. I hardly felt so comfortable at a punk rock show like in Athens. People dancing, partying, running zines and distros, sweating, communicating, just having fun together. Please check out what the guys have created with Katarameno Syndromo, it’s just amazing and something to aim for in every fucking city. We had an awesome time in Athens! We played three more shows in Greece. Larissa, Saloniki and Volos. All shows were great, so many amazing individuals and places. Thanks to Jack, Peio, Billy and Zaxos for making the whole Greece tour possible for us. Greece really rocks! After Greece we played one more show in Macedonia and one more in Timisoara, Romania again. Thanks to Marko and to the people involved in Atelier Diy in Timi. It’s a great place and collective! On the way to Romania we were going through Serbia again. Just when we passed Belgrade the Serbian cops of course stopped us again telling us we drove over a red traffic light and have to go to court on the next day in Belgrade. Sure, haha! Of course we didn‘t drove over a red traffic light. After explaining them for 20 minutes we definitely won‘t go to court and they should fuck off, it was „just“ 150-300 Euros fine, haha. In the end we drove off without paying anything. So fucking ridiculous. Sod you, stupid cops! The last show happend in Bratislava. We played Obluda for the second time. This time it was together with Tragedy, so as you can imagine, shitloads of Punks showed up again and made the night memorable for us again. Unfortunately the end of the tour wasn‘t that nice: getting our van towed in Vienna and paying 200 fucking euros to get it back again. Yo, welcome back in Austria and everything sucks ass again!

We‘re playing some single shows with Morne and Punch in June and July before we‘re touring Scandinavia in August. It’s the first time for all of us to go there and we‘re all excited about it. On the boat for this tour again: our buddies from Sand Creek Massacre, yes. Thanks for taking care of the shows, really can‘t wait for you guys again! Mikey played the bass on the last two tours and also will be playing the bass on the Scandinavia tour again. It’s great to have another friend in the Boredom boat! Thanks for travelling all the time between London and Graz!

So summer is coming again and it’s almost three years for this band. Our third record is about to be released and we visited already 18 coutries with this band so far. Don‘t know if I‘m just speaking for myself now or for all of us, but I really wouldn‘t know what else I would do if i wasn‘t able to play music, constantly travel around, meeting friends and new places. It makes me smile and feel alive and it really wouldn‘t be possible for us without the help of all of you amazing people. To finish the entry with a quote from the Despite Everything blog: „You mean the world to us.“ Cheers and see you!

We‘ve to deal with our daily lives again, which means suffering a lot. Everything is so fucking grey, brutal and cold again. Everything is so incredible boring. No excitement, just the daily dose of mediocrity or total shit and never ending boredom everywhere. Winter. Stagnation. A shitty cold city full of apathetically assholes. I‘m pissed off. Endless tiredness of everything. Hard times. Nearly unbearable, to be exact. I‘m so fucking sick of all those apathetically dead humans I have to see every fucking day. I really don‘t know how it comes that I still didn‘t abandon myself to total callousness too. But for some unknown reason I just can‘t. I really can‘t and I guess I would rather kill myself than to become so fucking callous about anything. Human machines. Still it’s hard not to lose the believe that I‘m not the one who is completely insane. I mean, I just really don‘t get it, what the fuck happened to all those countless dead people? How can they just accept all the shit they have to experience, how can they just go on with the same old shit every fucking day. They are suffering too, they are so fucking bored too, I really can see it clear in their faces, but they have stopped to face up their boredom, they have stopped to face up their alienation, they have stopped searching for alternatives. They possibly stopped struggling when they were just little children. They just don‘t care anymore. How can they even survive a single day in such a bunch of pure narrow-minded bullshit? I couldn‘t. But maybe it’s really just because I have never stopped to believe that there are things to do who are worth the effort. There are still people, even though they are not a lot, who are passionated, who are worth spending time with them. There are alternatives worth fighting for. There’s fun. And yes, there’s excitement too. I have experienced all those things, so why should I stop to believe that it also could be possible at all times. And don‘t get me wrong, that really has nothing in common with fucking reformist hippie ideas. I‘m far from celebrating those dumbasses. I hate them to be honest. Their shitty ideas will bring us nowhere too, to the contrary. I want to punch them in their fucking faces!

Maybe just because of all those facts, we‘re going to enter the studio tonight again. We‘re going to record our first full-length album which will be called „World bores to death“ with our friend Nickl Gruber. He already recorded our demo together with us in our basement practice room last year and I can‘t wait to spend nights full of trying new sounds, drinking beer and recording songs again. We already have finished 10 new songs for the album. Next week we‘re going to play in Slovenia together with our good friends from Leechfeast at their tape release show and the day after we‘re going to playing in our hometown again. It’s the release of our split 12inch with Rivers Run Dry, so they are playing too. Leechfeast are also play again and also our friends Scraiste from Vienna are joining us for the show. Yes. That sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks so much to the Rivers Run Dry dudes for taking good care of getting the 12inch released. Thanks to Luis Sendón, our friend from A Coruña, who did an amazing artwork for this split too. Thanks to all the nice people participating in diy labels and who helped us to collect the money again. Without all your help we really would be fucked. So this is what the split looks like:

It features four songs of us and three of Rivers Run Dry. It’s released by Dzsukhell Records from Budapest, Halvfabrikat Records from Sweden, Panda Panda Records from Ljubljana, Dream Comes True Records from France, Ita! Ita! Records from Hungary and Car(a)mba Records from Poland.

So at this point I also really want to thank the people from Trieste and apologize once more for us being so fucking wasted, trying to destroy the whole city on our way home and due to that fact possibly really exhausting to them too. Thanks for all your patience, you‘re awesome. Best food ever and we fucking love motorcycle poses! Thanks to Pianoearthquake. Thanks to all the people who set up shows in September and October too. We spent beautiful weekends together with Alpinist and the Holy Mountain in Croatia, Hungary and Austria. You‘re awesome too and so are those both bands and you all know it anyway.

I also updated the blog site a bit. The biography section is new and I added a link section too. We made a bandcamp site too. You can find the link to it in the discography section. It’s easier to listen to songs there. We‘re touring in the beginning of January together with Sand Creek Massacre again. Fucking hell! The plan is not to die in one of all the squats…falling asleep fucking wasted and being amused nearly to death. That can be dangerous. You never know. Anyway, this time it’s Praha, Berlin, Hamburg, Emmen, Amsterdam, Köln, Mainz and Erlangen. Vera will not be able to play the bass on this tour, so our friend Mikey from England will join us on the bass. After that the next tour will happen in April/May. We already started to book the dates. You can look them up in the shows section. It’s Italy, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, the Ukraine and Hungary and again we would welcome any help of people setting up shows in these areas. Thanks. On the 1st of May we will possibly have a day-off in Greece. This is what our Greek friends told us about it in advance:“Don’t‘ be scared, be prepared:“ Haha. I‘m excited about that and still try to follow as good as possible what’s going on there since the shooting of Alexi by that fucking police asshole two years ago. The situation there just can be something we should really aim for in all the fucking nation states all over fucking Europe. Those guys are strong-willed, they really want to see everything collapsing and they want to create something new after the total collapse, something better, something different, something which is not so much end-of-the pier and bullshit. Admirable and also something to be jealous about! And still, it just depends on us to create the same situation and that’s probably also the best solidarity act we can show them. The time has come. But that’s not the topic now. The entry is already too long to read just the half of it again. However, the next summer seems to be far away at the moment but will hopefully bring us through Scandinavia, the Baltic states and Poland, at least that’s the plan. The new album should be out then too. I will post the tour poster for the upcoming tour with Sand Creek Massacre in January here later too. It really seems like it’s high time to escape this fucking cold reality again. I can‘t wait, I‘m almost looking as much forward to tour again as I probably enjoyed the feeling I got when I was on my first punk shows as a young teenager. Let’s have some fun again, let’s have some joy and leave all the shit behind us! That’s what the Holy Mountain told me:“ This life is all we have. This life, this fate. Here is no exit! Defeat means death. Here is no fucking exit!“ Haha. Cheers buddies!

Administrator <![CDATA[]]> http://boredomoverall.blogsport.de/2010/09/08/31/ 2010-08-15T00:24:41Z 2010-08-15T00:24:41Z News Shalom people! Have you ever tried to greet a police man in an Islamic state during Ramadan in that way? As for me, I can doubtlessly say I did. I did just a few days ago and believe me, it can be quite funny if you have a really intense addiction to getting fucked in a hard way by cops. Of course this just happened by mistake to me and quickly I turned out to be the really innocent victim of a really bad mistake, haha. No, to be honest, greeting a police man with this word was of course not unintentional. Of course I had to do what I possibly do the best and also enjoy the most: to needle the local authorities as much as possible and see what’s happening after doing it. What I learned this time from it: in fact there are quite a few situations where it’s really better not to provoke local authorities. That was indeed one of those situations. Yes, I know, I‘m a stupid idiot, haha. So that’s clarified now.
However, it’s been ages since the last update on this page. We‘re all pretty lazy fuckers concerning that. The spring tour which brought us to Switzerland, France, Spain and Slovenia is long over. Anyway, the memories are still all there and yes, most of them are indeed amazing. The shows all turned out really nice, we made loads of new friends, met awesome people and visited beautiful places again. Thanks so much to all the amazing individuals who helped us on that tour and made the whole thing possible. Now it’s probably time for another very loud: Up the punx and okupas! Cheers to any girl or boy who still is passionated about what she or he is doing, who still is putting time and effort in setting up shows, in preparing food and drinks, in making a distro or label, is taking part in a social movement and has no interests in giving up her or his very last brain activity or just is playing in one of all those bands out there which still don’t give a fuck in getting famous or making some shitty coins. After taking part in many of such things for quite some years I know how hard it can be sometimes not to give in or to get completely insane and not to accept the welcoming warmness of a mental institution as the very last way out. Being surrounded by all the stupidity, narrow mindedness and the fucking status quo of society out there and unfortunately too often also is omnipresent within those oh so great communities which pretend to be so fucking different to society outside. Epic fail! Still, what gives me the most energy to continue is to meet all those amazing individuals and places. It’s the conversations, the parties, the music, the free drinks and the food…all those nice little things about touring which make life a bit more bearable to me. We also had some more shows going on in July in Slovenia, Croatia and Germany which again were great. Thanks again for treating us so well everywhere. And yes, we have some real news to announce too: The split 7 inch with our friends from Sand Creek Massacre is finally out too! If you are interested in getting one of it you can write us or get it on one of our further shows. Here’s what it looks like:

This beautiful piece of artwork is done by Kaska Niemiro (behance.net/dogstailart) and the pressing includes 524 pieces on black vinyl. Don‘t ask me why it’s exactly 524 fucking pieces. Anyway, it’s released by Contraszt Records from Germany, Dzsukhell Records from Hungary, Halvfabrikat Records from Sweden and Panda Panda Records from Slovenia. Thanks so much for supporting a bunch of losers and helping us to collect all the fucking money which was necessary to make this happen. Cheers to Philipp, Danne, the Rivers Run Dry dudes, Luka, Tjea and the Melete guys. Thanks to Kaska who really had to suffer a lot because of me being a fucking slob and lazy in answering messages, but really good in forgetting things and sending wrong infos. Despite all that, she did an amazingly beautiful artwork for us. Looking forward to hang out in Berlin with you and have some beers together. No thanks to the Dutch ‘turd’ named Sand Creek Massacre. The truth is: we‘re just releasing the split and touring together with you losers because we didn‘t find a better option, haha. Kusjes aan jou! Ganz geil alles!

We‘re finishing everything for the upcoming split 12 inch with Rivers Run Dry now and still would welcome the help of a label for distributing the records and making the money issue easier for us work-shy fuckers. We also have finished enough songs for a full length album which we want to record in the winter time. We play some shows with Alpinist again in September and believe me they are worth to drop by on a show. We‘re also playing at Schrottbar Fest in Biel in the beginning of September, so it would be nice to see you somewhere around. More tours trough Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Turkey and the Balkans are planned for the beginning of the fucking year called 2011 in your ridiculous calculation of times. Yes!

Wow, it turned out as a pretty long entry. Not bad, so that should be enough for the next years and we can enjoy our own laziness to the fullest again. While writing this entry I‘m sitting in Laayoune which is part of the by Morocco occupied territory of Western Sahara and I just experience Ramadan and Islamic Culture. Even though both sucks big time the only things I really miss about this shiathole called Europe are way too loud punk shows, ice-cold beer and of course some of the people who make it worth to come back for some time. Can‘t wait to hit the road again and to get fucking wasted, stoned and to continue the war against everything that surrounds us and all the other clichéd things that are strongly connected to the idea of an average storybook punk rocker, haha. Talk to you here in the fucking year called 2013 in your ridiculous calculation of times again. Earliest 2013! Cheers!

Thanks a lot to all the nice people who set up shows, cooked for us, gave us a place to sleep, organized us grass and fresh drinks, made interviews, travelled with us, had boring conversations with us, partied with us, watched our boring shows or took good care of us in any way. You‘re all amazing and the reason why I‘m doing this shit. Thanks once again to Rivers Run Dry and Sand Creek Massacre for touring together with us dirty fuckers, we had a beautiful time and we honestly love you. Oh yeah, love is in the air. Thanks a lot also to Gattaca. No thanks, rather a huge ‚fuck you!‘ to all the police assholes of several countries, to European traffic jams, shitty weather and to the wind storm Cynthia. Yes, you fucked us a lot but in the end we were the ones who won the war again, ha! As already mentioned, we also made two interviews on two of the shows we played in February. One was made with Kobi in Belgrade and the other one with the guys from Gluga Neagra in Timişoara. I will post them here later. The split 7inch with Sand Creek Massacre should be out in May/June. The split will feature two new songs of us and the artwork will be done by Kaska Niemiro, which is really awesome. She really does amazing stuff you definitely should check out: behance.net/dogstailart. Furthermore we will release a split 12inch with Rivers Run Dry which will feature four new songs of us and also should be out around that time. The plan is to record our first full length album in the summer time. Tomorrow we‘re going to play at E.K.H. again. Can‘t wait to meet our Greek buddies there again and to party hard and dance the whole fucking Monday night again. After that there’s a bit more than one week left and then we will be on tour in Switzerland, France, Spain and Slovenia for two weeks. We still have a few dates where we could need help with a show, so if you‘re able and willing to help us out please contact us. Good look-out for us anyway, yes. I guess there are worse things in life than to go on tour in the beginning of April in Spain. We already had that issue I think. Really can‘t wait to be on the road again and to leave this fucking country again! So much for now, salud and stay geil.

We really appreciate that! Apart from shitty roads, shitty weather and all the fucking borders, that still or even just now more than ever try to divide us from each other and as a result of all that really long drives, everything was really nice and heartily. It feels great to play again. Thanks a lot to Rivers Run Dry as well, you‘re great dudes and I really can‘t wait to see you tomorrow again. Our merchandise also made it finally to us. So we‘ll bring along some t-shirts, patches and buttons from now on. This weekend we are going to play in Czech Repulic, Slovakia and Poland. We can‘t wait to meet some old friends again and of course to make some new ones. Hopefully see you somewhere! Cheers.
